The job is based in Muhanga, a secondary town in Rwanda where the cost of living is far lower than in the capital. The school has a headcount of around 600. Teaching is in full immersion in English and French since the first year in kindergarten at the age of three. Kinyarwanda is taught as a subject

Duties and responsibilities

  • In charge of the management of the school providing new ideas for its development and its fundraising, working with the teams on ground.
  • Responsible for soliciting resources to facilitate school expansion and funding of different school projects.
  • Supervising the performance of the and coordinating their efforts towards set and known school objectives.
  • Running a national school, that is also an international because of its a Cambridge school and offering French DELF examinations as well.
  • Run and supervise the implementation of the academic curricula


  • At least 5 years experience as Director managing a primary and/or Primary and kindergarten school.
  • Must understand and speak French
  • Ready to relocate to Rwanda
